Now in paperback AND hardcover: One Bride for 7 Brothers: The Complete Saga
|
All of the stories. All of the brothers! Everything in one massive, sprawling tale – One Bride for Seven Brothers: The Complete Saga! In 1870, proper society looked down on mail-order brides. So did Flora Nolsheim until she discovered her fiancé had advertised her availability as a bride-to-be to thousands of lonely men. Now, she finds herself aboard the S.S. Philadelphia, sailing toward the distant, dangerous Northwest and betrothed to a man she’s never met. She has no idea that he has six brothers waiting for their arrival, all of them eager to win her hand…. (The Death on the Nile paperback not included! As much as we love the novel, it's only included to show how much larger the 550-page Bride is than the usual paperback.) |
Now in paperback: The Awful, Terrible, NO GOOD Mail-Order Bride
In 1875, an honest woman did a deceitful thing.
Assuming another woman's identity, Faith Collins is traveling on the nation's first transcontinental train in a desperate journey to find true love. Posing as a wealthy mail-order bride, she expects to arrive at Harrington Station in a few days to meet her prospective groom.
David Allen doesn't realize she's not the woman she pretends to be. Faith's not the woman who replied to his letters. She's not the woman who accepted his proposal. But if her plan works out, she'll be the woman he marries.
Faith doesn't know that the person she's impersonating has an enemy on the train — or that this dark stranger is plotting to kill both Faith and her beloved cat....

(Unlike the baker who created the cake to your left. “Welcome!” was supposed to be lettered on the cake’s surface, but the baker didn’t care to use ALL the letters. Picking up the cake, Renée was weirdly delighted by the mistake. “Wlcome!” she said to our new neighbors.)
In July of this year, we spent a fun hour talking to Aki for the podcast. “Brimming with big laughs, honest insights into collaborative creativity, and a love story as rich as their bibliography, this Editor’s Pick episode invites you to come for the fries—stay for the fun.”
We don’t know what an “Editor’s Pick” is, but we had a lot of laughs. If you'd care to give a listen, the show's available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more.
